Two Rock and Roll Hall of Famers are coming to Syracuse for a joint concert.
Daryl Hall and the Daryl’s House Band will perform at The Oncenter Crouse Hinds Theater on Saturday, Nov. 19. Special guest Todd Rundgren will open the show at 7:30 pm
Tickets go on sale Friday, Sept. 23 at 10 am via Ticketmaster or the Solvay Bank Box Office at The Oncenter (760 S. State Street, Syracuse, NY 13202). Prices range from $49 to $149; additional fees may apply.
Hall, best known for his work with John Oates, is doing his first solo tour in a decade in support of his new album “BeforeAfter,” his first-ever solo retrospective. Hall & Oates hits include “You Make My Dreams (Come True ),” “Maneater,” “Rich Girl,” “Sara Smile,” “I Can’t Go For That (No Can Do),” “Kiss On My List” and “Private Eyes”; the pop-rock duo was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014.
Hall also frequently collaborates with superstar guests for his online video series, “Live From Daryl’s House,” featuring performances from his studio in Upstate New York. Artists making appearances include Grace Potter, Ben Folds, Train, Darius Rucker, Keb’ Mo’, Neon Trees, Smokey Robinson and Rob Thomas.
Rundgren is a multi-instrumentalist, producer and singer-songwriter who was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame last year. His credits include “Bang the Drum All Day,” “I Saw the Light,” “Hello It’s Me,” and production for Grand Funk Rail Railroad, New York Dolls, Meat Loaf (“Bat Out of Hell”) and Daryl Hall & John Oates.
Only one other Hall-Rundgren concert is scheduled in New York state: Oct. 1 at the Tilles Center Concert Hall in Brookville on Long Island.
