While Kimi was battling for the race, former Formula 1 World Champion Jenson Button and current Chip Ganassi Racing driver Marcus Ericsson had a jolly banter on Twitter.

The IndyCar driver tagged Trackhouse Racing’s Twitter account, informing them about his availability to race for the team.

The 2009 World Champion quickly pounced on the opportunity and challenged Marcus to a game of Rock, Papers, and Scissors for the seat.

Ericsson happily obliged to former McLaren drivers’ challenge.

The conversation between the two former Formula 1 drivers sent F1 Twitter into a meltdown. Fans could not contain their excitement and made their feelings known in the comments section.
