Kyle Busch Appears to Confirm Crazy Theory With Latest Toyota Dig in “Mic Drop Moment”

Mechanical issues and driver safety have been at the forefront of all issues with the Next Gen cars, with plenty of drivers already struggling with them. Interestingly, fans have a crazy theory that Toyota gave Kyle Busch an experimental car after his complaints, and quite fascinatingly, it seems the theory might just be true.

Busch got eliminated from the playoffs at Bristol as he ended his race due to engine failure, some blaming it on his ‘shifting issues’. It seems he confirmed the theories as he highlights a ‘Toyota issue’.

In an interview after the race at Bristol, a reporter asked the driver of the #18 car about the “Crappy Parts” that Kevin Harvick and Martin Truex Jr. were complaining about. To which he replied, “No, that’s completely different from our situation. They’re talking about the steering rack and steering parts and pieces that you’re mandated to use by NASCAR to run. Our issue is a Toyota issue.”

The two-time Cup Series Champion has always been very vocal about his issues throughout his career. Of course, the same applies to the all-new next-gen cars. So, do you think there’s a possibility that he actually got an experimental car? Because the fans sure think so.

Fans believe Toyota and Joe Gibbs Racing used Busch as a test mule

One fan said – “That interview was so good and should be looked at and admired by all. The subtle Toyota dig was a mic drop moment. Even more subtle was the comment it’s not fair to his crew, sponsors, and fans. In other words, they all know what’s happening too. Everyone is focused on Toyota obviously screwing Kyle, but it’s not just him they’re hurting. It’s everyone associated with him.”

This guy seemed pretty content with the results –Jgr is using KB cars as test mules for the remainder of the season, probably will dnf several more times yet this year.”

One fan was sorely disappointed – “Sounds like Toyota got some payback for Kyle leaving their camp. Just a bit odd that it happened to just his Toyota. Others had some issues but not catastrophic like Kyles. His was blowing water and oil out the exhaust pipe.”

This fan was still in disbelief – “If it is true what others are saying, that there is just using Kyle as a test mule, an say he misses the chance at the championship, Kyle should just push in the clutch and blow every motor within the first lap. That’d stop that shit.”

Another fan remarked – “This new “kit car” was NEVER ready for the cup series and the further we’ve gotten through the season, the more we’ve seen that!!!”

What did Martin Truex Jr. say about Kyle Busch?

Now, Truex Jr. has also had issues with the car from the beginning. And recently, he had steering issues, putting his car out of commission. And he added to what Harvick said.

He said, “It’s unbelievable, I mean, what Harvick said, Crappy Parts.” But he was then asked to put himself in his teammate, Busch’s position, and how worried he would be. However, he had something to say about his teammate that might prove his dedication to the sport.

Truex revealed his teammate’s character when he said, “He’s not gonna worry, he will drive until it stops working.”

That clearly speaks volumes about the dedication his teammate has. Also shows how he deserves to remain in the sport. Although he is out of the playoffs this year, there might be a lot of fight coming from him at Richard Childress Racing next year.
