Pizza, football, cell phones and dreams

When did we start not leaving the house without having a cell phone and a bottle of water with us?

And do we do both because, if we have a breakdown, and need to call a tow truck, do we figure we could die of thirst while we wait?

That’s a couple of the many questions I have about the meaning of our lives.

Here are a few others:

• Can any of us remember the last time we unlocked our vehicles by putting a key in the door instead of pressing a button on our car keys?

• When you tell someone, in a compromise during an argument, “Who’s to say which one of us is right?,” don’t you each really think, “Actually, I can say I am, and I believe I just did.” ..,” or otherwise you wouldn’t be arguing, would you?
